This Cookie Policy explains how TrendNalysis ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our site at https://trendnalysis.ai, including the blog published there. It describes what these technologies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and the choices available to you.

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. We also use related browser storage such as localStorage, which keeps small pieces of data in your browser until they are cleared. Throughout this policy we refer to these collectively as "cookies and similar technologies."

These technologies can be set by us directly ("first-party") or by third-party services we rely on ("third-party"), such as our analytics provider.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic. Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode. When you first arrive, analytics storage is set to "denied," so no analytics cookies are placed on your device. Before you make a choice, Google may receive anonymous, cookieless signals used only for aggregate modeling.

If you click Accept, analytics storage is enabled and standard Google Analytics cookies are set. If you click Reject, analytics storage remains denied and no analytics cookies are set. The necessary cookie-choice storage in the table above is used regardless, because it is required to remember your decision.

• Google Analytics / Google tag (gtag.js): provides our traffic analytics and may set the cookies listed above after you accept. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Data sources (SEC EDGAR, FRED, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics): filing and economic data are retrieved by our own servers and passed to your browser, so these providers do not set cookies on your device through our site. Market price data (previously retrieved from Yahoo Finance and Alpaca Markets the same way) is currently paused pending data licensing.
• Our application code, including charting code, is served from our own site rather than a public CDN, so no additional CDN sets cookies through our pages.

Our blog is published at trendnalysis.ai/blog as part of this site, so this Cookie Policy covers it: the same consent banner and the same cookies described above apply, and no separate blog platform sets its own cookies.

• Banner: Use the Accept or Reject buttons in our cookie banner to allow or decline analytics.
• Change your mind: You can withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page. It clears your saved choice, immediately stops analytics, and re-opens the banner so you can choose again. (Clearing this site's data in your browser has the same effect.)
• Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear site storage through their settings.
• Google Analytics opt-out: You can install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data on any site.
• Browser privacy signals: Some browsers offer Global Privacy Control or "Do Not Track." Where required by law, we aim to respect these signals; in any case you can always decline analytics with the Reject button.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our site or applicable laws change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
