A convenience summary, not the binding text. The full Privacy Policy below is what applies.
This Privacy Policy explains how TrendNalysis LLC ("TrendNalysis," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use trendnalysis.ai and related tools (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
TrendNalysis is an educational financial-research website built on public SEC filings and economic data. We provide financial statements, filing-fact charts, financial-health analysis, and economics dashboards. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner, and the Site does not provide personalized investment advice.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- When you create an account: your account email, authentication credentials, saved settings, watchlists, and subscription/payment status.
- Any information you include when you contact us (for example, your name and message).
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data through Google Analytics 4, such as IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and general location (city/region). Analytics storage is denied until you accept cookies via our consent banner (Google Consent Mode v2).
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.
Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect Social Security numbers, full dates of birth, precise/GPS location, brokerage login credentials, biometric data, or payment card numbers. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, on Stripe's own hosted checkout; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe also sends transactional emails such as payment receipts on our behalf.
3. Why we collect it and how we use it
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its tools.
- To understand aggregate usage and improve content and performance.
- To provide accounts, watchlists, alerts, and subscriptions.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
- To protect the Site, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
5. We do not sell or "share" your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used under California law. We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels (for example, Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel).
7. Your privacy rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of your personal information, to request correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out is required, but you may still contact us with any request.
EEA and UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Our lawful bases for processing are your consent (for analytics) and our legitimate interests (operating, improving, and securing the Site). The Site is operated from the United States, so using it means your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S. You may withdraw consent at any time and may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
Other regions. Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your information. To exercise any right, email support@trendnalysis.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here. For example, we keep support correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, and account data for the life of your account plus a reasonable period afterward. Aggregate, de-identified analytics may be kept longer.
9. How to delete your data
To request access to or deletion of your personal information, email support@trendnalysis.ai and we will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (and never from children under 13). If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards including HTTPS encryption, restricted access, and storing secrets outside of public code. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information is processed in the U.S.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
